June 1 Practices/Lessons Begin!

What to do this week:

1. It is going to be a great season of learning and fun! Summer 2022 is in the house! Get excited!

2. Be on time- better yet early, and prepared. Have goggles, a team suit, or a black speedo style suit, and a towel or two. If you don't have fins yet, or paddles, that can be arranged in short order. Caps will be in on the 3rd. I will have extras to purchase if you need a Piranha team cap.

8:45 am -ages 9&10

9:45 am-ages 8 and under

11:30 am pre-swim team lessons ages 3 & 4

Evening Practice Schedule:

6:30 pm pre-swim team lessons

7 pm all ages, organized by lane/ability

3. Please do not put pressure on the first few days or so of practice. For growth to take place there must be comfort. This is especially important if your swimmer is new to the pool or our team. We need to take the time to get to know your swimmer and family and they need to take their time getting to know their coaches.

4. Communicate via our email: [email protected] This is the email for the administrative team and our head coach. By using this email, your question or concern will be directed to the appropriate person. DO NOT send us FB messages or private emails. You may text Carol with meet questions, directions...etc. 301-775-6321. If your question is for Coach Caroline, please say so up front in the team email, she will reply when she's not on deck, coaching.

5. Please do not speak to the coaches when they are coaching unless it is urgent. We try not to distract the coaches for safety purposes.

Please email [email protected] if there is anything that our staff should know about helping your child acclimate to the team, or if your child has a special challenge that we should be made aware of.

Swim fast, piranhas!
