Team Gear
Swimville USA will be hosting a team suit fitting on Thursday, April 30th from 5:30-7:00pm at Granville Middle School. Granville Blue Waves team suits, personalized caps, and swim gear will be available that night for purchase. The other option is to go to Swimville USA (837 Bethel Road, Columbus) before May 1st and get fitted there. If you want to be sure to have the team suit in time for our first meet on June 3rd, we highly recommend that your swimmer comes to get fitted and order their suit. After May 1st, there is no guarantee that your swimmer's team suit will be in-hand by our first meet. FYI: A non-personalized GBW cap for each swimmer will be included as part of your registration fee this year, and our team colors are navy blue, white and silver/gray.
Swimsuits
Each swimmer should have a team suit and a practice suit. Wearing the same suit every day can cause it to stretch and become see-through! Make sure your swimmer has at least two swimsuits, keeping their team suit nice and tight so they can swim extra fast.
Swim Caps
Each swimmer should have at least one team cap. This helps coaches and spectators identify their swimmer at swim meets! Caps rip easily, so having 2-3 extra is always a good idea. One cap per swimmer will be provided by GRD, but additional caps will be available for purchase through Swimville USA.
Other Equipment
Each swimmer should also have:
- a pair of goggles (or 2 or 3)
- water bottle at every practice
- shoes for dry land training or games in the grass
