Happy Crazy May, Piranha Families!

We hope you're getting as excited as we are for the 2023 swim season. We've got some new things planned for this year that promise to be fun for everyone! As we head into the final stretch before practice starts on May 30th, we just wanted to remind you of a few things, so please read through this email in its entirety. We want to make sure you have all the important information you need to prepare for the season:

• If you haven't already registered for swim team this year, PLEASE go and do it now. It's really important that we have accurate numbers going into the season so we know how many coaches need to be at each practice, how to divide up lane assignments, etc. This will be the last reminder email sent to families from last year who haven't signed up yet. We hope you'll join us! 
• If you haven't ordered your suit and gear yet, do it now! Contact Swimville USA or go to their store in Columbus for help with swimsuits, and go HERE for information about what gear you'll need for practice. 
• As you begin your summer planning, please click on the meet schedule HERE and add all the dates and times to your calendar. It's amazing how quickly those "lazy" days fill up, and we wouldn't want you to miss any of the fun!
• We hope this is already on your calendar, but just as a reminder: our Season Kick-Off/Meet & Greet will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 6:00pm at MCC! Swimmers will meet their coaches in the grassy area outside the pool fence for some fun (non-swimming) get-to-know-you games, while parents will head upstairs to the MCC Ballroom for an important (and mandatory) meeting with Coach Caroline and Piranhas board members. This meeting will answer all your questions about what the season will look like and be over in time for evening swim practice to start at 6:45!
• We'll talk about the SwimTopia app at the parents' meeting, but if you want to download it beforehand, you'll have it on your phone and ready to go! We highly recommend paying for the upgrade so you'll have all the info you need at meets, as we will not be printing heat sheets this year. More info on that to come...
