Greetings Piranha Families,

As a reminder, our team suit fitting with Swimville is tomorrow night from 5:30-7:30pm on the 2nd floor of the MCC clubhouse. We're using the same team suit as last year, but make sure you try those suits on before you disregard Fitting Night. Kids grow like weeds! Swimville will also have goggles, practice suits, and other swim gear available, so head on over tomorrow night...

And now, what you've all been waiting for: we are happy to introduce you to our new Head Coach, Hillary Paulsen! Coach Hillary has been around a swimming pool for more than two decades. Being a past Piranha swimmer and coach herself, she began swimming competitively at age 9. She swam for Granville High School for 4 years and continued to swim in college at Baldwin Wallace University, specializing in butterfly, breaststroke and IM. Hillary spent one season coaching the 8 & Under group for Pau Hana before accepting the GHS Swimming Head Coach position in 2016. She just completed her 8th year with the program and has coached countless sectional, district and state qualifiers. Her passion for coaching and love for the sport fosters an environment where swimmers are excited to learn something new, challenge themselves and are ready to race! Hillary lives in Granville with her husband Tyler and their 4-year old triplets, Liam, Peyton and Reese... who you will see around the pool as assistant coaches this summer! She's excited and grateful for the opportunity to help the MCC Piranhas continue to swim fast and have fun!

Coach Hillary brings with her a great group of assistant coaches, many of whom will be familiar faces to you, but a few new ones as well. As the season gets closer, we'll be introducing them to you on our website so you can put names and faces together on June 3rd. We're excited for the changes this summer brings and hope you are too!
