GBW Families,

It's hard to believe that the last week of swim team is upon us! It's a very busy one, so please make sure you've read Coach Siarra's email from Sunday, July 12th. There's a LOT of information there about our remaining practices, Champs times, etc... Below is additional important info for the rest of the week:

CHAMPS: We still need volunteers to help in both sessions: 3 slots in the AM session (11 & Ups) and 5 slots in the PM session (10 & Unders). Please click HERE to go to the Meet Signups; these meets can't run without volunteers. Thanks!

BANQUET: Our End-of-Season festivities will be held this Friday, July 17th from 7:00ish-9:00pm at the Heath pool and everyone is invited (swimmers, parents, and siblings). We'll probably have to wait a few minutes for guards to clear the pool deck before we can come in, but then be ready to party! We'll have ice cream sundaes, the coaches will give out paper plate awards, and then the pool will be open for everyone to swim. If we have enough time and interest, we might try to do a few relays too, so parents bring your swimsuits just in case :) It will be a fun night--please do everything you can to clear your schedule and join us!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: First, please click HERE to RSVP for the banquet and sign up to bring toppings for the ice cream sundae bar. The Bruce family is generously donating the ice cream, so please make sure to thank them when you see them! 

It's also swim team tradition for families to thank the coaches who have worked with their kids throughout the season. These amazing teenagers and young adults brave the summer heat, rain, attitudes, and meltdowns to make swim team what it is for our kids! We will have manila envelopes with each coach's name on them, so feel free to bring notes from your swimmers, cash, gift cards, etc... whatever you want to do to say "thank you" to our fabulous coaches.
